What is Photonic Therapy?
Photonic therapy employs non coherent light that is compressed from the cold, red spectrum of light. It travels in a straight line, is monochromatic and polarized. This allows the light to penetrate the surface of the skin without heating it and without side effects. Instead, the light stimulates body cells which convert glucose to ATP which is chemical energy thus promoting natural healing and pain relief.
The effects of of light on tissue have been studied for more than 40 years by NASA and the medical community. In 1991, Photonic Therapy was extensively researched and developed in Australia by Dr. Brian McLaren and Rod Torkington. Further research was conducted by Jan Couper and the user friendly Photonic Torch was born!
How Does Photonic Therapy Work?
Photonic Light supplies energy to the body in the form of non-thermal photons of light. These light waves penetrate deeply under the skin creating an analgesic effect, an antinflammatory effect and an increase in circulation which in turn increases the supply of oxygen to the blood. These effects directly facilitate healing and pain relief.
What are the Benefits of Photonic Therapy?
As reported in thousands of testimonials by both the medical community and lay persons alike, the benefits of photonic light include:
- The relief from acute and chronic pain
- The stimulation of the immune system
- Anti-inflammatory effects
- Improved metabolism
- Increased blood supply
- The generation of new tissue and cells
- Accelerated wound healing
- Elevated endorphin levels
- Emotional well being
